The Penny kit gets its name from the recess in its base that accepts a penny. Date this basket with your choice of a penny carrying the date of, a birth year, an anniversary or the year the basket was made. Fun to make and give as gifts. The original penny kit is made on a mold that we no longer make. Thus we have the "New Penny" which uses the same base.
